Yes, we also see this problem on Windows XP. See

Our linux users have had this type of problem, but not as often. Perhaps
that ticket should be changed to more than Win32.

The idle status is based on what is selected in the preference for idle. We
are using 'Based on keyboard or mouse use' here, and I think that is the
default.
Perhaps if the users with this problem could vote up ticket
