So... I uninstalled the old Pidgin because of a certificate issue with AIM.
Then, I installed a newer version of Pidgin and strangely enough, it remembered
my AIM name.
Is this normal? I completely uninstalled the old version from the computer and
then installed the newer version and it
This is normal. Most applications do not remove your personal settings.
If you are on a Windows platform, they will be located here:
%appdata%\.purple\
Please feel free to delete these manually after uninstall. This is
consistent with nearly all desktop software and not unique to Pidgin.
