Ticket #10447 (new defect) is something
I am still having problems with. I am in a Lotus Sametime environment at
work, and I cannot get Pidgin to do file transfer to or from someone on
a Sametime client. I noticed that this ticket is 2 years old. Will this
be fixed?

Hi Matthew. The Sametime/Meanwhile plugin included in Pidgin isn't
really maintained. Someone interested in the protocol would need to
step up, investigate and fix the problem, and that hasn't happened
yet. Since Sametime isn't a very widespread IM network, it might be a
while before the bug is
