Is there a way to be invisible AND still have buddy pounces generated? I
sometimes like being invisible to get work done, but if certain friends come

i'm still seen as "Busy" and not invisible at all.
How can I connect as invisible to Google Talk please?

You can't. Google Talk invisibility isn't a standard XMPP function
(although now support for a similar concept in the XMPP standard).

My invisibility status doesn't work for Gtalk on Windows vs. 2.62.
I saw the link describing the patch:
