I have seen this a couple of times. I found that if I (completely!)
closed Seamonkey & opened it again, the message bodies would be there
now. So I think this IS a Seamonkey issue, but it hasn't happened often
enough for me to be sure.
Try that & see if it works for you

Something has changed recently on my computer - maybe an update of
seamonkey. But now, when I try to open an eml file that I have saved
to my documents I get a blank page in seamonkey browser, Is this a
configuration problem, or what?
