Ken... When running Win 7 64bit, you only have to install BOTH Java 32bit and 64bit IF -- that's IF -- you also run 64bit browsers. If not, you only need to install the 32bit Java files. Most users do not run or install 64bit browsers as they tend to be sluggish even in 64bit Win 7 machines

My version of SeaMonkey (Win-7 x64, SM 2.15) continues to show in "About Plugins" that it still contains the previous Java SE6 U37, which is supposedly vulnerable to blah blah blah. I updated successfully (I think) to U38 from the Oracle site, but SeaMonkey continues to show U37 as the plugin.

I received two quick responses, and one of them disappeared right after I read it. I think the question was whether right-clicking on the Inbox and repairing it solves the problem. No, the messages do not reappear. And I'm not allowing SeaMonkey to do anything with the messages automatically
