Previous Session Can't Always Be Restored

SeaMonkey occasionally crashes, usually due to excessive memory use. Not too often, but often enough to be annoying and occasionally cause some real problems, when SM is restarted the "Restore Previous Session" box is greyed out and does not work. Is there some where in the files or the config
