Which platform (Windows or Linux) version and in case of Linux distribution?
If Linux x64 make sure you download the contributed x64 build at the bottom.
If Windows you virus scanner might prevent correct execution.

I am getting reports from others I exchange emails with of problems with

One by one I am responding to each suggestion that came through so quickly for
the disappearance of my major "tool" bar.
Roger, F11 did make two of the two appearing tool bars disappear and then
reappear, but still no "File, Edit, View" bar. Thanks for the input just the
same~!
