This is my first posting so please redirect me if I am posting to the
wrong group or have breached some form of etiquitte. I have been
hoping for a long time to move away from MS and recent events have
allowed me, or forced me, to do just that. Now, I am trying to move my
entire Outlook database of folders, email and contacts to Seamonkey on
OSX on a new MBP. I'm trying to figure out the path of least
resistance and the best way to accomplish this.
I was delighted to discover that Seamonkey (1.1.16) running on MS
Windows will import my entire address book, mailboxes and folders from
Outlook. This has been an incredible and delightful moment in
attempting to change my email client and platform. Next, I installed
Seamonkey (1.1.17) on the MBP(MacBook Pro) with OSX. It installed
flawlessly very quickly.

Unfortunately, Seamonkey on OSX won't import Outlook, probably because
Outlook is not installed in this OS. I am also unable to specify the
file location to import from. The questions then become.
1. What is the best way to achieve my goal of moving my Outlook
information, files, mail, and folders to OSX on the MBP. The files are
already imported into Seamonkey on the Windows platform.
2. Can I import into Seamonkey on MS Windows and then move the
appropriate folders to OSX, installing them in the appropriate
directories?
3. Any suggestions as to the best way to proceed would be greatly
appreciated.

Any guidance would be most appreciated. I've spent several hours
already importing the thousands of address book entries, along with
email and folders and then trying to figure this out. My head is about
to explode.
