FWIW, I'm running SM 2.46 on XP SP3 on a SOYO PRM266A with a Intel Pentium 4
2.4 ghz cpu. It supports MMX, SSE and SSE2

If you are under the impression that it was removed by the SeaMonkey devs you
are wrong. SeaMonkey just picked it up from Firefox. At the

Well trying to use IE8 nowadays is like shooting yourself. Mot much will work
with it. I am using XP too on another PC and also frequently testing SeaMonkey
on it. I would buy a P4 or better Core2Duo. Should be cheap.

Yes that's right sorry. You can't use 2.46 Windows on this system. The Linux
version still works. 2.49 and up should give you the correct message when you
try to install it. The change came too late for 2.46.
