That's because the issue is due to a change in Gecko 1.8.1.19 so it
only affects SeaMonkey 1.1.14 and Firefox 2.0.0.1

There is nothing in 1.1.14 that makes it worth the hassle, go back to
1.1.13 which doesn't have the problem.
