Help support teams for analysis of Production database performance issues **** 2. Help development team for performance tuning during development **** 3. Monitor prod and non-prod environment for performance issues proactively using in-house tools and give suggestions**** 4. Manage database sql code in Source control and work along with release manager to co-ordinate non-prod and production releases of DB code. **** 5. Manage masking activities for database **** 6. Co-coordinating setup of new servers, database / users, refresh of databases with other teams**** 7. Co-ordinate activities for database patches / upgrades /migrations**** 8. Execute small projects on need basis (one time data migrations, implementing monitoring across apps, automating day-2-day activities)**** **** *Technology :* 1. Sybase ASE 15 (In depth knowledge of performance tuning, Sybase internals). **** 2. Hands-on Unix Shell scripting (for fixing existing scripts, writing DB monitoring scripts).
