Title: QA Lead Location: North Haven, CT Duration: 6 months+ Healthcare experience is Must Skills: Test Data Management, Quality Assurance, Optim Test Data Management Background *The use of common test data across multiple test phases and teams will reduce the amount of test preparation required before execution. *After each test pass, data will need to be refreshed in order to be used again. *The specific strategy and tools are still being evaluated. IBM Optim is one tool that is being used to assist the data management and experience with this tool is a plus. Managing the test data will be a key factor to the success of the data migration. Coordination across the project will be required to ensure that data is available for each testing phase. For system, each system test team will be primarily responsible for test data acquisition and creation to perform their respective testing. * Test data used will be fabricated/manufactured. (Production data will not be used for testing). * Test data may be shared amongst test teams, systems or across testing phases * Test data integrity must be maintained so that test results are as expected * Test data will be SSB related and non-SSB related * SSB data supports requirements for all functional areas * Test data supports positive tests and negative tests * Test data will be backed up * Test data refresh will happen on need basis, the frequency like weekly, monthly is TBD Test data needs can be primary grouped into two categories, reference data and transactional data. The specific data needs will be determined by the QA and business users in conjunction with the development of test cases. As test cases are created, data requirements will be analyzed and documented. Reference Data: Data that is required prior to processing the business transactions. Reference data needs will be identified by business resources based on the functionality under test and will be loaded into the applicable systems prior to the start of test execution. This program will benefit from using centralized testing tools to manage/report Requirements, Test Cases, Test Data, Test Execution and Metric Reporting. Recommended tools for this effort are as follows: Rational Integrated Tool Suite for Requirement Management, Test Asset Management (Test Cases), Defect/Change Request Management, and Metric Reporting LoadRunner, IBM*s *Application Performance Analyzer* suite for Performance testing.
