Martin,
you have used too much lye in your reaction. Neutralize before
bubbling. All is not lost, you can separate the soapy mixture by
adding dilute acid (phosphoric , acetic, citric, 10%) until you see
separation. Top off esters and rewash, several times if neccessary.

Check the archives, there was a previous dicussion on this. The way
it's done is to have two tanks, and you start the engine on gasoline, then,
when it's well warmed up, switch over to kerosene. Many such adaptions also
preheat the fuel before it gets to the carb to reduce it's viscosity. My
