Craig, Biodiesel can be subject to algae buildup. But it also has a considerably long shelf life when treated properly. I haven't had the occasion or need to utilize a biocide as of yet. But about the time we start storing fuel in a 100 bbl tank you can bet the problem will begin to crop up.
