so what they're saying is if you dont modify the engine to run ethanol, it
wont run ethanol very well... h. maybe we already knew that, and they're
trying to scare people off it? naah, they wouldnt do that... its not like
they would be losing money on fuel additive sales or anything

I hear you. So what you're saying is go ahead? User beware? There might be
a reason ethanol is so widely available. Are there any users out there who
can claim no long term damage from prolonged use of ethanol in small marine
applications? Anyone willing to be a guinea pig for the experiment
Yeah yeah, and most diesel mechanics are in full agreement that
biodiesel will destroy diesel engines too...

Anyone know anything about outboard motors? And boats? And whether a

True enough. Maintenance is key. (With everything we do. House, car, garden,
relationships...) In my experience, the gear box gave out before the tubing
did. (Kinda odd) Still, I would expect the tubing to last one heating season.

I understand the usefulness of trees, as I'm living in a
100-year-old-and-still-stout farmhouse... With trees that are still
growing shading the house on a hot summer day, removing the need for air
conditioning... and throughout the year, as they're producing, there
are plums, black walnuts,
