The festivals are part of the 15th annual Tour de Sol competition for students and others that showcases one-of-a-kind Earth-friendly vehicles. You will learn about the future of transportation, see and test-drive cars, bikes, and buses that could eliminate America's dependence on foreign oil and greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Festivals will be held in: Trenton, NJ (Monday, May 12, 10am-2pm, NJ State Museum); Philadelphia (Tuesday, May 13, 10am-2:30pm, Ben Franklin Parkway and 16th St.); Washington,DC (Wednesday, May 14, 10am-2pm, The Mall and 3rd Street). An open house will be held in: City of Burlington, NJ Saturday, May 10, 10am-5pm, Riverfront Promenade This will be a sneak preview of the vehicles competing in the Tour de Sol If it reduces gasoline and oil use, you will see it at the Tour de Sol. There will be over 50 exhibits from bicycles to buses and more. Food. Fun stuff for kids. Visit with vehicle manufacturers and owners.
