Hello
I've made couple 90 litre batches (WVO). Wash test, top cloudy biodiesel &
bottom milky water, separation took more than half hour so maybe not best
quality, but should be enough to oil burner.
Question is, when I let biodiesel settle (to separat glyserine) it forms
thin gel layer on top of
Second batch ongoing, looks good, at least for
heatingoil.
Here are couple pics of my "factory", prosessor is
connected to central heating boiler, where I can use biodiesel or
wood.

Hello
I tried BD in my central heating system and it
works fine. I have Arimax 520 + boiler (see http://www.thermia.fi/default.asp?ownerid=14 dual
boilers) and Oilon junior oil burner (see http://www.oilon.com/products/small/juniorprotechnical.html)
Now I'm connecting my BDprosessor to
Hello
First test patches burned well in my central
heating boiler :-)
How important is filtering before prosessing, and
what kind of filters you are using? 2 litres test patch went through coffee
filter, but it's quite slow. So I'm intereste how to filter 80 litres of
WVO?

I have the smaller one in our summer cottage. I haven't yet tried BD, but it
works great with normal heatingoil so BD should be just fine.

Hello
Just made first test batch from wvo, lets see what happens.
Then question about removing water using Aleks Kac's method: heating oil to
60 deg C, let it settle 24 hours and then use only 90 % of it.
I should use the top 90% and leave lower 10% not used? Am I
right?
