[Biofuel] Using plastic pails

Dear all, A quick queston. Is it okay to use plastic pails I find around my house to built the reactor tank, and other tanks for the biodiesel process instead of stainless steel? It is some much cheaper and easier to work with plastics. Will there be unforseen problems with this? Thanks g
