Progessives Unite at Democracy Fest!
July 07, 2004

Dear Jennifer,

Progressive Vote is working at the grassroots level to
unite the many progressive groups. Many of us have
come forward as a progressive activist from the Dean
and Kucinich campaigns of 2004 and the Nader 2000
campaign. We are forwarding information on activities
in which these unity events are taking place.
Progressive Vote is proud to be a part of
DemocracyFest.

On July 24-25, 2004, DemocracyFest will be held at
the Butternut Basin Ski resort in Great Barrington,
Massachusetts. Attendees can camp in this
picturesque setting-only an hour and a half from
Bradley International Airport, Connecticut, and two
hours away from Boston, Massachusetts.

About the Fest
The festival is designed to unite progressive-minded
people, improve their political knowledge, celebrate
the historic Dean campaign, and plan for our
future. This will all be accomplished through
motivational speakers, informative workshops, and
great entertainment. Our keynote speaker is Gov.
Howard Dean, MD. National and regional acts are also
donating their talents. Acts & speakers are being
added often at www.myvoteismyvoice.com
(click Deanfest 2004 button). If you want to help
make this a successful event, contact Charlene
Johnston, My Vote is My Voice, at

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is an opportunity to network and unite our
Progressive Communities. This is a powerful time in
history for the Progressive Grassroots! We
have come from different Campaigns, we have come
from different "walks of life", but our common threads
are our Passion for Building a Better America and our
Determination to Unite and Create a Progressive
Chain that will Break the Barriers that Divide!
We will see you at the Fest! Peace,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
