Depending on what acid you are using, wash (bubble) in an alkaline (pH9)
water for a day or two - it will form salts of whichever acid.
Do not use other than pH7 biodiesel - it will destroy the injection pump.

cause saponification, which is time-consuming to get out. But it can be
