In my mind .. I just simply look at the "requirements" of an "automobile". People "expect" it to have maximum leg and trunk room.... which leaves little room for the fuel tank and engine. People also "expect" it to accelerate from "zero to 60 in 5". This high-power requirement... combined with the small amount of space alloted for the fuel and engine ... AUTOMATICALLY assumes a VERY high energy "density".
Substances which have a high energy density are automatically (usually) either explosive, flammable, corrosive, or radioactive. The substance is "ruff -n- ready" ... always ready to "release that energy". That's why I always shake my head .. when people complain about the "latest <whatevers> powering an automobile" about how "ooooooh ... ahhhhh ... ohhhhhh" how "explosive/flammable/corrosive" it is. OF COURSE ... with the "requirements" of the modern Automobile .... OF COURSE it's gonna be like that!!
