Hi,
If I change the name of the begin function, I'll have to go through lots of
code, in lots of files, and change each occurance, which I'd rather not.
Anyway, It doesn't seem to be the begin function that's the problem, it
works in other places and an alert at the beginning doesn't get run.
Hi,
I like the animation in the svg to stop and start by selection. Wondering
whether the effect can by achieved or not? My question is in the html page:

Abobe is not going to 'save' SVG... they have their own problems and
priorities. So, the best thing to happen to SVG lately is Firefox
support. Why? Take a look at the history of the PNG format, or even
Javascript, for that matter, to see where IE has to go.

Hi Ben,
You might look at GeoServer
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Home which is a Java based OWS server
similar to MapServer, but with more explicit OpenGIS conformance. GeoServer
WMS provides a format="image/svg+xml" for request=GetMap. It works with a
variety of datastores ArcSDE
Hi all,
Anyone had any experience with using SVG within OpenSource MapServer?
If so, are there any sites/information out there that is useful? I've
tried the MapServer webpage which is useful but doesn't have any SVG
examples...

How about looking into the SVG specification then instead of making
thin
I'd like an area with generic area that can be filled with an
element that is scrollable. Does anyone know of any freely available
code that does this or something similar?

hi richard,
the line number in an error message generally is related to the begin of
the script block. in external script-files line 1 is really line 1, in
scripts within script-tags, your line 1 is the one after the
