That prog calculates the whole screen with ratio 15 fps, as I remember- I wrote
it some years ago. It could be done faster, if necessary. But if you already
have set of bitmaps, what you needn'tcreate when previous are shown at the
sreen, it will be faster, of course. What I demonstrated you is
Maybe an Android-based reader. Not sure what Web browsers run on Android, but
Chrome on Windows is pretty good with SVG.

What is the speed like? I want to use it for an animation, so I need it to be
able to cycle through the colors quickly. That's why I think bitmap DEMs would
be faster.

I've created some epub documents including SVG, using Sigil, and read them via
the Nook Color for PC reader. It does display some SVG, but is somewhat
limited: It doesnt do much more than read basic shapes.
Does anyone know which epub readers currently support SVG with more substance
