Maybe I'm missing something, I wasn't able to find anything but clear
restrictions on embedding the component.

I guess this point at issue became irrelevant with asv 3.03 since
this version finally thwarts the practical usability of this activex
component in an application. Incidentally you cannot distribute a
previous viewer version with your app?

There was an online partnership agreement that one had to sign up to in order
to take part in various partnership things at Adobe, and this agreement is
different than the agreement that distributes with the viewer.
I took a hard copy of it, and will look for it in order to refer to it. It's
