Neat coincidence!
Maybe, John, it is your path of destiny : You will bring us a glorious
comeback for Infocom ;)
I can see a Quake under the Infocom label:

Right now Ken Love is the closest thing to an Infocom historian at
Activision, and assuming he's aware of the date he's probably the only one
there who cares. More likely
The hardcore Infocollectors should know ;)

Well, I know that Activision is planning yet another Infocom
compilation. Maybe they'll make it the 25th anniversary edition.
Though I'm sure we won't be seeing any festivities on Activision's
compound ;)

True, but they were all gone when Activision published those Infocom
compilations, so I thought there was some small hope.

Feldhamer, Stuart
I could be wrong, but I doubt anyone remains at Activision from the Infocom days to remind them.
More likely, the Infocom alumnae will hold an event of their own, a la the reunion in Cambridge five years ago.

However I believe June 22, 1979 was the date Infocom was formed.
Correct. Is Activision planning any sort of special celebration?

For the informal collectors on this list, care to expand on what that date
means? I can imagine people thinking it's related to either:
- Zork
- Adventure
- Akalabeth

It's the supposed date that Infocom was founded.
