For the Mac-Fans here I can recommend OmniGraffle
(http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/). It even reads
and writes Visio XML-Format-Files if needed with acceptable quality.

sunrise uses Visio.
I personally don't like Visio, but for this kind of drawings it's not the worst
tool.
