My quick thought would be to instead create a DB of fonts and the URL where
they can be retrieved? That way if we have 7 different modules that all require
the font "spaghetti" and the location changes for this font, we just need to
make the URL change in one spot...?
Of course, this could eith

If it's not visible in the sidebar module list or the mod.mgr, then you
don't have it installed. There is nothing about modu
First, please use imp2vs. It's virtually the same as vpl2mod, but better
supported and will likely lead to fewer errors. To convert `vpl' to
`imp' format, change:

In Perl-style regex syntax, this would be:

Unfortunately, I am a bit of a dummy. I had a glitch in the build
necessities for prior-to-yesterday's Sword.
In fact,
Can you run xml2po manually? It seems to be incomplete cause the error
is comming from xml2po itself of not being able to import its python

In Xiphos 3.1.5 for Windows this is not visible anywhere!
Formerly, it was selectable in the commentary view (as I recall).
Any ideas?

Conf files allow the module maker to specify a Font, as one may be required
to properly render the Unicode for some writing systems. e.g. Padauk for
the ThaiKJV module.
It might be useful to also have a configuration file property called
FontURL, such that the user does not need to resort to sear

I guess most of the Xiphos team are well aware that there is now a need to
update the Xiphos manual.
The one installed with v3.1.5 for Windows still states:
"This manual describes version 3.1.4 of Xiphos. "
Not a complaint, not even a bug. Merely a friendly observation.

As most Windows users of Xiphos will know already, the following directory
also contains all the Sword utilities - which one it is depends on your
system.
C:\Program Files\CrossWire\Xiphos\bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\CrossWire\Xiphos\bin

Thanks Karl for the news, and thanks to all the Xiphos developers for all
their diligent work and research.
I have installed it successfully in
(a) my netbook (Win XP)
(b) my notebook (Win 7 x64)
It will be good to observe how much of an improvement the move to webkit is.
