Greetings.
I've been away for awhile and wondered about the status of the corrections to the NRSV module.
Thanks for all the good work you are doing. You and all the others doing development work are a blessing to many of us.

Has anyone been able to make the verse/chapter corrections in the NRSV?
Blessings, my brothers and sisters.
I was showing a friend the Sword program (OK. I was showing off the Sword program). He likes to study from and preach from the NRSV (I rarely use it), so I switched to that version and started showing him the Search, then how easy it is to scroll through the text for plain old reading.
He
I tried to download the new files using Install Manager, but it
didn't show the files. Then I tried to download the ZIP file using
FTP, but got the message "file not found."

I tried to pick it up with Install Manager, but it didn't recognize
it as being newer.

Great idea! How 'bout a small extension though and have both a
"Next" and "Previous"?
Blessings.

I have been running 1.5.4rc5 with no problems. This afternoon,
I downloaded the program only version of 1.5.4 and installed it over the
top of 1.5.4rc5. When I launched Sword, I got the following:
Access violation at address 005A0101 in module
I don't know what I did differently this morning (nothing that I can
identify), but I was able to pick up the new RWP via Install Manager with
absolutely no problem.

I have been able to use an FTP client to find and download the new
RWP modules, so you can forget my last message. I am puzzled,
though, as to why Install Manager couldn't/wouldn't find and download
it.
Blessings.

Greetings on this beautiful morning.
I wanted to pick up this new beta, but couldn't find it I went to the
site. I also couldn't get Install Manager to find it.
Any ideas?

Boy, do I ever agree with Jorge.

What a fantastic idea! I wish I'd thought of it.
You might consider breaking up the ContactAddress into several items to
cover ContactStreetAddress1, ContactStreetAddress2, ContactCity,
ContactState, ContactZIP, and ContactCountry. These modifications would
pretty much conform to the informa
Chris,
Thanks for providing this historical and strategic perspective for The
Sword Project. It is always neat for newbies like myself to know from
whence things came (one of the reasons we have the first couple of chapters
of Genesis, right?)
This is a really neat project and I feel gratefu
I know it's a very small, almost insignificant thing, but the byte count
being transferred and the % complete are incorrect in the Install
Manager. If you click on "Refresh from Remote Source" to get the
up-to-date listing, once the download starts, the total number of bytes is
0 and the % co
Tim,
I have gone to the site and read the Statement of Faith. As an
evangelical, conservative Christian (and ordained Southern Baptist
minister) I have absolutely no problems with it.
I do have a question, however. I have not taken the plunge and tried out
Linux, though I have thought very
th your testing.
Blessings on you as you seek to serve our LORD.

I sent the following message last Friday, 1/4, and now again today,
Saturday, 1/12. Since I'm new at this, I don't know what protocols you
follow in answering questions/responding to bug reports. If I'm getting in
too big a hurry, I'm sorry, I'm just anxious to be able to get on with
testing
Hi, Chris.
I think you're missing my point. I did not set up the directory structure;
it was set up when I installed the program. There is no "rawtext"
directory set up, only a "ztext."
I went ahead and tried installing the locked Bibles using InstallMgr, but
got exactly the same results.
