I have updated the Doxygen documentation available on
http://www.crosswire.org/~ghellings/ to include the 1.6.2 release
versions as well as the latest Subversion as of last night.
I have also created a few little Bash scripts to make updating the
documentation trivial for me. I k
I must be a little slow this morning. I found that the code does seem to be
better documented than I'd originally thought. I was looking the wrong place
(got too used to Perl and Java coding latestly).
Is there a way to build doxygen or similar docs already in place?

I was looking into getting started into some of the SWIG stuff today, but
stopped short because there's really no API documentation. I think that's
tantamount if the Sword project wants more developer help. I notice that the
doc/ directory in the distro contains a README stating "No real good docs
There is not detailed documentation, but there is a primer (which, IMO,
is valuable/short enough to read straight through), and many examples.

AFAIK there is no API documenmtation for download available.
But you easily create your own with a doxygen run in the src directory.
