And I for one find it hugely convenient to use the n4.nabble mirror to
interact with this public list.
I've been using this means since I joined the list during or before July
2008.

Practically as long as I am on the list (2004?), the list is getting archived
in Nabble. Given that every recipient
The other day we had an issue with emails being forwarded from another
list. In the past we have had issues with gmane.org archiving the list
without permission.
