I don't know of any open source project that has been kept up to date. The
one that *should* be up to date (in reality it's not) is the
symfony2bundles.org project. That's really up to us as a community to keep
up to date - but we're all pretty busy :). Another that *may* be up to date

I've been working with Symfony2 for the past couple of months now. I
often check this group for any new best practices and features of the
framework. A lot has changed in the past couple of months and thus a
lot of my current symfony2 code is outdate
