Hi i don´t know what was the problem, but i change today to symfony
1.2.5 and now the memory fall to 3 mb, thats not perfect but its good.
Try to change to symfony 1.2.5.

There is a regression in the behavior of the haveToPaginate() function
I am using 1.1.7 and I just noticed a bug.
Bug:
*The pager links do not appear when one selects the last page and the
number of results are inferior to the pagination limit.*

Which version of Symfony are you using?
In your batch script, do you have:
define('SF_ENVIRONMENT', 'cli');
This setting will configure Symfony for the console instead of the
web.
