Hi list,

This is a message for the translators of the symfony book. We appreciate a
lot the contributions of translators from Russia, China, France, Italy,
Spain, and so on, but one habit that some of the translators have makes the
trac timeline quite hard to read. See for yourself:

http://www.symfony-project.com/trac/timeline

The problem is that the translators publish a new version of the page
they're translating every minute or so. For that, there is a "preview"
button, which doesn't fill the timeline with useless messages.

We recommend that a new version of a page is uploaded only when it has
substancially changed since its latest release. In particular, translations
of the documentation could be released only once a day. Our recommendation
is that translators use a text editor and work locally (this will take the
burden out of our trac system) and publish chapters when they are
half-translated at least.

Thanks in advance,

François
