                Go with the stable symfony-1.0 and upgrade ur project.. hope
u dont need much modifications.

I had experienced the same problem i was developed a site in
symfony-0.7.1914 but later at production time we tried on symfony stable and
its working properly



just do run the following



pear install symfony/symfony

go to ur project Dir

symfony upgrade 1.0

symfony propel-build-model
symfony cc

and then copy the sf directory from the symfony data dir and paste it into
ur project's Web directory.That's it.
