Has anybody on the list managed to get an application running on Symfony at DreamHost?
I've frozen one of my projects and deployed it, and it *mostly* works... I think it's failing due to the way the rewriting is working (or not working). I've googled around and found a bunch of posts stating that it "just works", but I can't find any links to these applications err... working. I'm assuming therefore that "working" means that the default module and action screen appears. I get the error message "No input file specified", which I'm led to believe is because of PHP being run as a CGI. I'm investigating options to mess around with the .htaccess file at the moment, but it seems like I may need to take the drastic step of following the process here : http://spindrop.us/2007/06/01/installing-a-php-that-can-do-symfonydoctrine-o n-dreamhost/ Anyone have any experience with this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "symfony users" group.
