Check your logs. It sounds like you're getting a PHP error, but have
your server configured to not output them to the browser.

I am beginner and just start symphony.
after i setup the virtualhost in the apache httpd.conf, i run
127.0.0.1:8080 in my web browser and it show nothing.
I created a new index2.php in the web folder, i run 127.0.0.1:8080/
index2.php and it is working properly.
can anyone help me?
