AFAIK it should be possible, by registering the x and y coordinates 
<http://www.quirksmode.org/mobile/tableViewport_desktop.html#link2> of the 
mousedown event, and comparing with the coordinates of the mouseup event. 
And maybe the timestamp as well. If both are sufficiently distant from the 
original ones, then the drag code should be executed, otherwise the click 
code should.
