Hi everyone, I'm a current graduate student majoring in computational science (CS & Math) at the University of California San Diego. I'm also doing research on the computer vision area as a Research Assistant at DroneLab. Before came UC San Diego, I had a few years of work experience in fintech startup as a quantitative researcher, researching derivatives and options.
I have 4 years of python programming experience and it's my favorite programming language. About the first time I started to use the SymPy library, it was the last semester when I took the computer vision courses, I found the SymPy is super useful as it could make a huge matrix and complicated linear algebra algorithm just a few lines code! In this GSoC, I have to say this is my favorite program I want to contribute. For the projects, I'm interested in the 'High Priority Projects' and 'Computer Science, Graphics, and Infrastructure Projects'. I'd like to contribute to the projects full-time this summer. I hope to get in touch with the mentor and get started developing SymPy. Thanks!
