Hello Arooshi, Happy to hear that you are passinate about mathematics and inteerested to work with SymPy community. Go through the Development workflow <https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/Development-workflow> and contribution guide <https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/Introduction-to-contributing>, also all other related links and wiki pages in SymPy for more clarity. I encourage you to start with fixing easy issues <https://github.com/sympy/sympy/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22Easy+to+Fix%22> to hands on codebase and development.
While doing contribution check your interest area and respective sympy module, to choose particular project . Then you can start discussing your idea to make sure mentors are align with your approach, these simple steps will surely make your proposal stronog. Keep committing :) Cheers, Shekhar Prasad Rajak, <http://s-hacker.info/> Contact : +918142478937 Blog <http://shekharrajak.github.io/> | Github <https://github.com/Shekharrajak> | Twitter <https://twitter.com/shekharrajak> alternate email: shekharra...@live.com On Wednesday, 6 March 2019 22:54:25 UTC+5:30, Arooshi Verma wrote: > > Dear all, > My name is Arooshi Verma and I am a second year Computer Science > undergraduate from IIT Bhubaneswar, India. > > I have 4 years of experience of coding in Python and Have excelled in all > mathematics related courses I have studied (including both High School and > College).
