Hi,

I haven't yet promoted SymPy 0.7.5 for Sailfish in this SymPy group because I was waiting to document it better in the Talk Maemo.org topic, with more comments, screenshots, etc. And I will also release an user-friendly rpm package : SymPy icon launching Terminal with isympy, including Terminal, IPython 2.0.0 and SymPy 0.7.5 as dependencies. I will share here these new features when ready.

Anyway, despite the Unicode issue in Terminal, SymPy 0.7.5 runs very well on Sailfish OS, including on IPython 2.0.0 terminal and Notebook interfaces.

I am trying to package MatPlotLib for Sailfish, so SymPy could produce nice 2D and 3D plots.

        Regards,

        Roberto

    Hi,

IPython 2.0.0 is released with full terminal and Notebook interfaces. See this post in topic "IPython (terminal, Notebook) 2.0.0 for Sailfish " of Talk Maemo.org forum, it also includes screenshots :
