I think (A) would be the most interesting as there since I don't know
of any free software that does something more than Lagrange
multipliers. I think that (B) could be a lot more work than you think
depending on how well Sympy is set up to handle multiple rings etc.

Hi all,
I have proposed the "logic algebraic module for sympy" in GSoC
and I have two more ideas, which I may also propose to enhance the
chance of being choosen.
I have already emailed Ondrej about the ideas. Now I list them
to get more opinions.
