PR 573 (https://github.com/sympy/sympy/pull/573) is a long lingering PR
from GSoC'11 that cleans up some of the issues related to continuous
representations in sympy.physics.quantum, as well as adding some new
functionality.
It stalled due to lack of time and has since been closed. The main tasks
are first to get the code into a merge-able state and fix broken tests. A
review of the API was also requested by Brian Granger before it can be
fully merged.
