No time to wait! We are releasing Synfig Studio 0.63.02 - a minor update, delivering a fix for performance issue introduced in previous version.
Some users experience inconvenience because of the new interpolation method for Advanced Outline layer, which is very accurate, but slow. We plan to optimize the code for that routine, but it can't be done soon, because of the other items on our roadmap. Until then, we are releasing this minor update, introducing new parameter for Advanced Outline layer (Fast), which allows to disable slow interpolation algorithm and use old (but inaccurate) one. Please notice, that enabling this option may cause some render artifacts in certain circumstances and the shape of the width is not uniform with the curve length. Though, it will give you significant performance boost for complex curves.
