Well, had to jump through a few hoops, but it is working now. I compiled things in this order, etl, synfig, synfigstudio. However, synfigstudio apparently couldn't see the install of synfig. So I installed the downloaded synfig package and used it with the compiled synfigstudio and that did t

I am starting to think I have a bad build. I just downloaded the "tux" SIF file from the wiki site, loaded it into Synfig, and nothing is visible. Is that the way it should look? The radius is non-zero. I think the bline tool is failing. Not sure, since I don't know if it is supposed to dra

Yes, I am dragging out the radius. I figured the operation would be pretty much similar to Gimp and Inkscape. But when I release the mouse button, nuthin'. But something is there, since there is a duck when clicked in the layer mode. You click, drag out the circle and release the mouse button,

Could it be that your default foreground color is set to be transparent? In the main synfig window, click the small 'R' between the 2 overlapping squares under the grid of tools. That will reset the default foreground and background colors to black and white. Then make a new circle. Is it fille
