Hi Jeff,

Are you saying that a lack of dump device is causing your system to
panic? If the system crashes and no dump device is configured then
you'll see a message about the lack of dump device, but your system
shouldn't panic.

This configuration isn't recommended, but you can run a Solaris system
without a swap or dump device.

I think your system must have another problem to cause it to panic.

If you need to recreate the dump device, then follow these systems:
