Another record was set this weekend... Marcus O'Sullivan broke the Master's
3k record by 11 seconds when he ran 8:09 at Penn State. Its only a matter
of months before he gets the men's master's mile record...

Money is why you need clubs. We are chartered to support our athletes who
qualify for the national championships or Olympic Trials so we will raise
the money through events, donations, club sponsors, or bake sales so the old
slow rich people in the club can help the young fast poor people. That's
Sink and Scobey are apparently still competing... just not necessarily on
the track or roads.
I continue to bump into them as regular bidders on track & field memorabilia
items on E-bay. Scobey, amazingly, has made 342 successful
transactions...must have quite the collection indeed!

Jason Long ran for JMU and I believe graduated in 2001. I know he ran 1:47
high in the prelims of IC4As in the 800 last year, but I don't know what his
mile time is. Perhaps someone can offer more details.
