both of these athletes have big-time athletic apparel
sponsorships, right? Marion with Nike.
Their continued 'marketability' depends a great
deal on their public reputation remaining fairly
unsullied, right? They might even have clauses
in that regard written right

In answer to the question on "where are they now?" about former
Footlocker winners, I submit this on NJ's two winners
Janet Smith, who ran 5th in the 1981 and 1982 meets and won in 1983,
went on to a successful career at NC State and is still very much involkved

Actually, they have apparently been at York quite a bit over the last
few days and seen by a number of people but no one really does seem to
care. We're just too polite up here. Someone offered 100.00 on a site up
here for a photo which actually reminds me of the old SNL Beatles
