My favorite was an article that appeared in the June, ?, 1970 issue of
Sports Illustrated written by Kenny Moore (?) entitled, "The Freshman and
the Great Guru".  This was an article about Steve Prefontaine, Bill
Bowerman, and the Oregon Twilight Mile.  I kept the cover of that issue of
SI on my bulletin board all through HS.
