A note from a novice vault coach on Stacy's jumps. As she came in on
the first miss she was under to far/over her step. As she lined up i saw
her stop and really get the crowd pumped up. As she did this i said to
myself "she is going to come down this too fast ans isn't focused on
not sure if the official results will show this, but Stacy passed 3.80 and
4.00, then cleared 4.10, 4.20 and 4.30 on first try. Needed three at 4.40
(and if she had missed, would have lost to Balakhanova, who had already
cleared), then did 4.50 (MR) on first try before going to WR height of 4
